ZW3D – an advanced, efficient and intuitive CAD/CAM ZW3D CAD/CAM software is a cost-effective solution for 3D modelling, creating entire designs made up of many elements, and the machining generation. This is widely used in the furniture industry, but also in creating all kinds of ornaments, statues and bas-reliefs. One of the advantages of this system is a possibility of data exchange. There is no need to worry about the repair of geometry after conversion to neutral formats, as ZW3D copes very well with the direct import of files from SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor, Creo, NX and SolidEdge. After you import STL file (e.g. from a 3D scanner) you can proceed without any problems with 3 or 5 – axis milling machining. Just as easily, because with one command, you can define a blank that will allow you to verify the machining by visualization of the excess material removal. With the reference operation and the reference tool, the system automatically identifies the areas of machining and generates the corresponding toolpath to remove the excess material. As a result, you can create a finished product in a few steps. 5x module allows the full use of the 5 axis machine capabilities. Guiding the tool perpendicularly or tangentially to the surface of the part makes it possible to reduce the time of finish machining. Easy definition and possible subsequent edition of machining as well as user-friendly interface allows fast and comfortable work in the system.
