Description

The electric arc furnace for steelworks is a piece of equipment capable of reaching 3,800°C: its vault, where the graphite electrodes are located, has to withstand significant thermal shocks. Refractory masses, EBT filling sand, precast shapes...: Insertec has developed a range of solutions specially designed for the lining of EAF. EBT filling sand \ The BOTALITE is a ganulated material to fill the E.B.T. based on olivine. The olivine is a magnesium silicate. Cause to the lack of flambles and its good desity/stability relation, it does not require any kind of preheating before using. Precast shapes \ We design delta sections for the roof centers for EAF in precast shapes with ultralow cement castable. Less stops in the process. Longer life compare with traditional lining. Piece ready to use. Minium instalation time
