Description
You have to look twice: A small 3.5" touch panel and an S7 PLC built very compactly. The external peripherals are accessed via the many interfaces. Often used as an entry-level model or for additional display and operating devices in the S7 control network. In addition to the decent RAM (512/640kB), the interfaces Ethernet (S7 communication, TCP, UDP), Modbus (-TCP and -RTU, CAN (CANopen and Layer2), RS232 and RS485 (free ASCII) and optionally Profibus DP V0 (-master and -slave) favor the device for use as a data logger or gateway with data preprocessing.
