The systems can also be integrated with technologies for the reduction of other pollutants, including NOx, heavy metals, dioxins, and furans, forming a complete flue gas cleaning solution.

Mechanical reactor-based systems are particularly suited for small and medium-sized boilers, while fluidized bed reactor systems are ideal for medium and large-scale installations, where high process efficiency and operational stability under variable conditions are critical.
