These industrial horizontal washing machines, taking advantages of the peculiar design of the rotor and its high speed (1.500 rpm), grant very high rates of cleaning, both with rigid and film plastics. The dirty fraction is expelled through the holes in the sieve and conveyed with water flux; the washed material is usually extracted by mean of an auger.
