Water aftercooler

While all Kaeser rotary screw compressors feature a built-in aftercooler, we offer a complete line of stand-alone air-cooled and water-cooled aftercoolers to complement other compressors and provide additional moisture separation in critical applications. Capacities: from 40 to 2,800 scfm Kaeser's water-cooled aftercoolers provide an efficient, economical way to remove water vapor and to cool compressed air to safe, usable levels. They also prepare the air for further filtration and drying. These aftercoolers are single pass, counter flow shell-and-tube heat exchangers that cool air to within 15°F of the cooling water temperature. As the air cools, up to 80% of the water vapor present condenses to a liquid.
