Modern intensity comparison pyrometer (successor of the disappearing filament pyrometer) for precise contol of temperatures ranging between 700 °C and 3500 °C. Target spots as small as 0.1 mm can be achieved. Mikro PV 11 is used in many fields of research and industrial manufacturing, at universities, institutes and laboratories. Measurement applications include tungsten filaments, tiny metal and ceramic samples and atomic absorption spectroscopy.
