Discharging coarse and combustible particles to protect filters Pre-separators from Keller Lufttechnik are used to discharge coarse and combustible particles. This protects the filter media and minimizes wear. Additionally, the capturing volume increases. When used as a spark pre-separator they minimize the risk of fire. Keller Lufttechnik offers various types of pre-separators with suitable solution for any requirement: Cyclone separator AS, impact separator PA and material pre-separator MVA. Suitable pre-separator for any requirement The pre-separators operate either according to the principle of centrifugal force or by using the thermal energy of particles. From the adjacent air inlet, the centrifugal force catapults the dust particles against the outer wall and down into the hopper discharge. The thermal energy output of the particlse is reduced by deflection inside the hopper area so that coarse particles are separated.
