The Kuhnke FIO is a Bus Terminal EtherCAT® designed to connect the operation signals within the EtherCAT network. It comprises of different I/O modules and a bus coupler. The Kuhnke FIO bus coupler changes the transmission physics from Twisted Pair to LVDS (E-Bus) and operates the unit supply for the LVDS element. The 100 Base TX lines that are commonly used in the office setting are attached on the rare side of the Ventura FIO units. This mechanism aids in processing the signals orderly on the opposite side while still maintaining EtherCAT protocol state up to the remaining I/O module. The link existing between the inbound and return lines is automatically shut at the base of the modular equipment. This process aims to connect the next EtherCAT device.
