The Kuhnke FIO coupler by Kendrion Kuhnke Automation GmbH is a Compact EtherCAT I/O module which is designed to connect signals coming from an EtherCAT network. The unit consist of bus coupler and different types of I/O modules which generates the whole system supply for the LVDS modules. The assembly work simply by converting the transmission coming from Twisted Pair and link it with LVDS (E-Bus) system. The 100 Base TX is the common lines in an office world. This line can be connected via Kuhnke FIO modules and process the signal to link it with the other side while having the EtherCat retained. The connection of the inbound and return line will stop automatically at the last modular device that is connected so that the EtherCAT device can still be connected to a second port.
