Pneumatic timers are used for precise time-controlled operation. After the predetermined time is invalid, pressure is applied to the exit of the gas timer. This signal can stay, till the pressure at input one is interrupted for a minimum of 200 ms. If the pressure at input 1 is interrupted, the preset value is re-activated. Time preselection is possible only between 2 and 300 s. Kuhnke’s valve system is a subplate-mounted pneumatic timer providing a totally adjustable time vary either from 500 ms to 60 s, from 1 s to 120 s or from 3 s to 180 s. The time constant is accomplished by an adjustable vacuum principle. Pressure range of the product is 1.5 up to 8 bar.
