Description

Electromagnetic clutches from Kendrion transmit the torque or braking torque frictionally in dry running Electromagnetic clutches of the Active Clutch Line are designed for the frictionally engaged transmission of torque in dry running. The force effect of an electromagnetic field when applying a DC voltage is used for torque transmission (electromagnetic locking). The Active Clutch Line is characterized by safe residual torque-free release in any installation position and by torque transmission free of backlash. The clutches operate almost maintenance-free during their entire service life. The combination of different stator and rotor types allows an optimum adaptation to the customer application.
