Seed Moisture Meter and Grain Moisture Meter - Advanced Portable - Instant Measurement The latest premier portable from Kett. Similar to the PM450, the PM650 provides additional flexibility and versatility. Over 150 factory calibrations are available and we can provide custom calibrations is required. A bias adjustment is available to correlate the measurement values with local standards, along with an optional printer that provides reports. Battery operated and weighing less than three pounds, the PM650 is a tremendous tool for field work where many grain types require analysis. Simple Operation - World-Class Results To test a sample, simply fill the sample cup and pour the sample into the PM650. The moisture content is instantly displayed as well as the density (g/l). For test documen- tation, digital output is available to an optional computer or printer. Large buttons and icons, audible alarms and confirming sounds help operators have confidence in their measurements and procedures even in the most stressful environments. Outstanding Measurement Stability Measurements are made using capacitance, comparing the di-electric constant of the solid sample with water. An integrated balance and temperature thermistor provide automatic density and temperature compensation. These components and the design of the sample cup and measurement cell combine to provide unsurpassed stability and accuracy when compared with standard loss-on-drying tests.
