This handy device is used to manually inspect rice quality. Rice kernels are placed on the sample plate and light is reflected through the samples and viewed on the mirror. Discoloration, cracks, and imperfections are easily detected. The TX200 provides a backlit method of conducting this type of evaluation. The RN300 provides an computer driven method (with images) of conducting this type of evaluation. The RN600 provides an automated mode of conducting this type of evaluation.
