KIRA Model KM-6 is a traveling column design with a fixed (non-moving) table. This machine boasts a 12,000RPM spindle with power to spare. The Y axis extended ram design provides for 800mm Y axis stroke without loss of rigidity. This machine was engineered with large work pieces in mind. With 60 meters/min rapid traverse rates, it is among the fastest machines in the world. The Kira heavy duty series of machines combine, power, speed and large work area while requiring as little floor space as possible for such a machine.
