KLASCHKA Capacitive Sensors are capable of detecting non-contacting and contactless sensors unlike inductive sensors/ inductive proximity switches. Their suitability for filling level and level control of solid, powdered and liquid materials are largely insensitive against environmental influence. Available in housing diameters of with 8, 12, 18 and 30 mm housing diameters and switching distances from 1.5-20mm these are used in various applications like counting tasks and all kinds of level monitoring of solid materials (e.g. powder, granulate, pellets, etc.) and liquid materials (e.g. water, oil, hotmelt, pastes, acids, etc.). Other uses like controlling presence and completeness of packaging (also through cardboard boxes), to detect tear and damage on material webs made of paper, plastic or textile, controlling material flow on extraction and mixing units, drive belt breakage monitoring or selection of liquids with different dielectric behavior are possible.
