Description

Omni conveyor as the name implies it can transport in all directions (four directions) on a horizontal plane and can be used as a sorting conveyor. Its main components are: Mecanum wheels, electric rollers, and v-belts. Omni conveyor is a kind of conveyor sorting systems that uses electric rollers with V-belts or O-belts to drive Mecanum wheels. Its basic principle is that two colors of Mecanum wheels change the conveying direction according to different instructions. It is a solution for cargo tuning transfer. The same option that can achieve this purpose but without power is: ball roller conveyor. Other solutions to achieve cargo steering include: belt curve conveyor, roller curve conveyor, transfer conveyor, and roller turntable. 1.Bifa’s standard omni conveyor uses a V-belt instead of an O-belt with an electric roller conveyor. The V-belt is more durable and stops more accurately. The electric roller is matched with a drive card (what is a drive card?) and uses its strong adaptability to enable the omni conveyor to achieve four-directional conveying on one level. 2.The electric roller (power part) is placed under the conveying surface. This design reduces the gap with other conveying lines and improves the space utilization rate.(image 1) 3.The omnidirectional wheel conveyor does not need to calculate the turning radius and can achieve a right-angle turn close to 90 degrees. However, it should be noted that if the goods are light, the straight conveying of the object cannot be guaranteed.
