Description

Radiometer/photometer measuring UV and visible light via a single wireless sensor. Available as a single kit (1 Reader and 1 Sensor) or double kit (1 Reader and 2 Sensors). Each sensor measures both UV and White Light. Apollo 3.0 is traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and is in compliance with ISO 3059-12. Comes calibrated with a calibration certificate from an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. Labino is an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory with scope in UV-A and visible light calibrations. If you will invest in a meter, you might as well make sure it is calibrated correctly and measures correctly. We recommend you use laboratories that are audited and accredited by a professional body – ask for the accreditation certificate with scope in UV and visible light calibrations. NDT Technicians, members of NATO MILITARY should ask for NATO STOCK NUMBER (NSN): 6650-64-001-2158. The sensor unit of Apollo 3.0 has an ingress protection of 67 (IP67), Batteries of the sensor unit are accessible from the outside, therefore, the unit does not need to be re-calibrated when changing batteries. The Apollo 3.0 operates using 3 pcs of Alkaline batteries (3 x AAA 1.5 volt). The new batteries do not require Dangerous Goods Management (DGS) and the meter is therefore easier to ship with air freight. Apollo 3.0 has zero temperature drift in extreme temperatures, showing the exact same reading when performing UV measurements at 0°C or 40°C. The fatigue is close to non-existing. The readings drop by 0.1% after 30 minutes irradiation with 50 000 µW/cm².
