Unlike safety relief valves, pressure regulating valves operate more frequently. The Lee Company offers a “momentum-free” design concept for these applications. These valves compensate for momentum forces that upset the normal force balance of typical direct acting valves. The result is a valve that is stable throughout the operating range. These valves are available in a wide range of diameters and cracking pressures. This miniature pressure relief valve is only .187” in diameter and .62” in length. This valve is ideally suited for hydraulic applications where a fast opening safety relief valve is needed to prevent system damage from pressure spikes. Minimum cracking pressures are available from 20 thru 100 psid. An intergral safety screen is available. Weighs only 1.5 grams (Screened Version 2.3 grams) Relief Flow Lohm Rate: 1,100 Lohms max (Screened Version 1,500 Lohms max)
