Server soundproofing and security General characteristics : Made from 5 PVC panels: sides, base, top and rear. 10 mm thick composite panels. 25 mm thick acoustic foam on the enclosure walls to reduce noise from the server by up to 50 %. Foam and walls of fire rating M1 CSTB-ULV 94 USA, they are self-extinguishing. Enclosure secures and protects the hardware against theft, shocks, dust, etc. Base : 19 mm thick composite wall. Three slots in the base along each length to allow good ventilation of the cabinet, which rests on two raised skids made of composite material. Grooved mat 3 mm thick fastened to the base. Rear panel : Removable panel for handling and making the connections to the server. Rear closed by a compression latch. Rear cutout to feed cables. Two fans with deflector, attached to the top of the cabinet at the rear, with rear opening opposite for extraction of hot air and ventilation. Power outlet to plug in the server. Front panel : 6 mm thick transparent PMMA server access door, mounted on three polyamide hinges. Front panel closes with two compression latch onto seals.
