Description

MULTICHANNEL SEISMIC SURVEY M.A.S.W. Easy MASW is a software for seismic data interpretation and storage through MASW method (Multi-Channel Analysis of Surface Waves). Easy MASW implements MASW method to determine VS shear waves speed profile, soil classification (Vs30) according to national and international technical regulations and main geotechnical parameters evaluation. Input Data import Data can be imported from files in standard format SEG2, SEGY, SU and text files. After data import, geometric disposition elaboration will be done for both source and receiver. It is a complete report in which geophones position levels and depth scales are diplayed. Except for geometric position, field seismographs are visualized. In this phase, user can operate on signals and remove part of seismographs, move or unify virtual arrays. Signal analysis Rayleigh waves analysis with MASW method is performed through spectral survey of the signal, performing a double Fourier transform in time and space domine. Transformed domine (f-k) is represented both in 2D and 3D and allows to underline signal coming from Rayleigh waves between other kind of signal. In transformed domine, indeed, is clearly displayed wave speed relation to frequency and dispersion curve is easily traced considering spectral maximum amplitude for each frequency. Experimental dispersion curve is automatically extract from program and user can decide to approximate it to a polynomial function which can be adapted excluding insignificant points. Theoretical inversion curve
