mageba presents FIX-O-FLEX® group of adhesive and sealing materials. When combined with moisture, they harden to create an elastic output. They are made with silyl modified polymers (SMP). They provide several advantages when compared to adhesive and sealing materials, which may be based on acrylate, polyurethane or silicone. The advantages include reduced shrinkage and broad spectrum of adhesion, along with high temperature, weather and ageing resistance Thanks to the special compositions, all FIX-O-FLEX® types can get superior adhesion to mildly dampened surfaces. It is possible to apply some types even under water, based on viscosity and processing method. FIX-O-FLEX® is useful for sealing of joints, which specifically have to deal with heavy mechanical loading, like industrial plants and pavements. FIX-O-FLEX® offers high resistance to chemicals, making it ideal for use in areas exposed to chemicals. FIX-O-FLEX® provides superior adhesion, even when fresh.
