Description

Thermatel® Models TD1 and TD2 are a series of flow/level/interface switches that deliver high-performance and reliability. It has constant diagnostics with fault indication, temperature compensation, narrow hysteresis and fast response time.

These sensors consist of two RTD components. One is for the reference and another to be heated to a temperature above the process temperature. The electronics sense the temperature differential between the two components. The temperature difference is higher in air, then decreases when cooling occurs because of media change. When the flow rate increase, it decreases the temperature difference further.

The set point adjusts for the switch to alarm at the temperature difference that is set. Once the set point is reached, the relay will change state.
