The inductive and very compact displacement sensors of the EVT series are designed for small measuring strokes from ±0.65 to ±12.5 mm. The mechanical detection of linear movement is done by a front guided push rod with inside spring return device (EVT/EVTW) or loose push rod (EVTL/EVTWL). Versions in IP64 (EVT / EVTL) and in IP68 (EVTW / EVTLW) are available. In addition for corresponding applications, the IP68 versions are available in a pressure-tight version up to max. 30 bar.
The inductive measurement principle of the EVT is configured with a casted spool in LVDT winding without external electronic amplifier. Due to the contactless measurement principle long lifespan can be reached and permits high dynamic application, especially if small oscillating movement has to be detected. Due to its good linearity with <± 0.5% (optional <± 0.1%) and high resolution (even with micro-steps up to 20μm) the EVT offers a high accuracy. The EVT is characterized in particular by its compact mini-design with only Ø8..9,5 mm and can be integrated space saving in difficult environmental conditions.
