About the product
The MPAC208 is a professional acoustic imaging camera for rapid, accurate detection of ultrasonic sound sources in industrial sites. It enables maintenance teams to locate gas leaks, mechanical faults and partial discharge (PD) on high‑voltage equipment without interrupting operations.

Core hardware
The system integrates a 208‑channel MEMS microphone array (2 kHz–100 kHz) fused with a 13 MP optical camera and presented on an 8‑inch capacitive touchscreen. Real‑time visual overlays display acoustic sources on the optical image for immediate localisation.

Variants and certification
The MPAC208‑IECEx variant provides identical functionality and is certified for use in Class 2 explosive atmospheres.

Designed for real industrial environments
Detection range up to 200 m for close‑proximity inspections and stand‑off checks at substations, switchgear and overhead lines. Extend capability with thermal correlation
Optional thermal imaging module enables side‑by‑side acoustic and thermal visualisation so users can correlate heat signatures with acoustic anomalies for faster root‑cause assessment.
