Description
The TQ 423 is manufactured by meggit, and is a proximity probe that is ideal for use in high-pressure operations including gauging the relative displacement on submerged pumps and different kinds of hydraulic turbines. The unit is integrated with a non-contact transducer, which has a tip that can handle pressures ranging up to 100 bar. It also has an IQS 450 signal conditioner. The system outputs a voltage or current equivalent to the distance between the transducer tip and the target like a machine shaft.
The TQ 423 complies to a variety of standards including IECEx LCI 11.0061X and Ex ia IIC T6 to T3 Ga.
