The LIN Switch Slave is an IC that is a completely integrated LIN Slave that is used for matrix switch and single switch applications in an automotive environment. This unit is well suited for bus systems as per LIN 2.x and SAE J2602. Physical layer LIN transceiver and LIN protocol controller come together with ease to configure PWN output and switch inputs. This in turn will make it possible to develop in a reduced time frame, simple and cheap, yet powerful switch slave nodes for LIN bus systems.
