These Lifeguard Cartridge Filters are superior filters used for the clarification and prefiltration of viscous biological fluids when high contaminant holding capacity is required. The lifeguard glass microfiber has been designed with the removal of deformable and non-deformable particles and microorganisms from liquids in mind. The debris is held and contained within the matrix of the glass microfiber medium, and it is exceedingly proficient at holding such medium. Due to its high holding capacity, high medium retention and remains rigid under wet conditions, it is superbly suited for the clarification and prefiltration of serum, plasma proteins, gene therapy and other viscous biologicals. Lifegard cartridge filters are ideally suited for processes that require maximum pressure differentials, and the cartridges are robust and resilient and are designed to withstand multiple steam-in-place cycles.
