The VTC201 is a concrete weighbridge for weighing over-the-road legal vehicles. It is is designed for long life based on METTLER TOLEDO’s experience as the world leader in the truck scale market. The design is produced with the latest engineering tools in a state of the art concrete factory using qualified production methods and the latest quality standards. The VTC201 is designed to weigh 250 fully-loaded road-going vehicles per day for decades, based on an axle pair of 28t or 13t for single axles. The VTC201 is available with METTLER TOLEDO POWERCELL® load cells to keep your scale working accurately and reliably for years. The deck of the VTC201 includes an excellent driving surface allowing trucks to safely stop. Snow plows won’t damage the scale. Load cells can be accessed from above for quick maintenance or cleaning. If damaged, a load cell can be replaced in minutes, not hours. Pre-stressed and re-enforced concrete for long life – every kilogram of concrete and steel are efficiently used. The VTC201 is based on the same construction technique as the structural members of many modern bridges and buildings.
