Description

• Patch cords with all variants of connector types LC, SC, ST, E2000 and FC • Fiber types: OM2, OM3, OM4, OM5, OS2. All fibers are bend insensitive • available with connectors of quality class Grade B: In this case, particulary low insertion loss values are achieved by selecting and processing the connector ferrules. • Cable types: • Duplex patch cords („figure 8“) with two tight buffers and Aramid as strain relief • Duplex connection cable („figure 0“) with two tight buffers in an additional outer jacket and Aramid as strain relief • Simplex patch cords (only for SM) with one tight buffer and Aramid as strain relief • Duplex patch cords are logically crossed as a standard (A B, B A), logically uncrossed patch cords available on request • with duplex cables, all connectors except ST and FC connectors are connected with a duplex clip • available in lengths between 0.5 to 20 m. The use of duplex connection cables is recommended for lengths of more than 20 m because of the higher mechanical strength. • Low smoke, halogen free, flame retardant cable jacket (LSHF-FR) • Single mode patch cords are tested by 100 % on insertion loss and return loss at 1310 and 1550 nm. An interferometer measurement is done in addition. • Multi mode patch cords are tested by 100 % on insertion loss at 850 and 1300 nm • the measurement is followed by a final visual control of the connectors according to IEC 61300-3-35. • All patch cords are provided with a serial number and a bar code. This allows traceability and measured values can be made available at any time.
