MicroStudio presents a new solution for checking the roundness of sealing ring. It’s necessary to mount them on a template which puts the sealing ring into the working position. The template is inserted into the instrument which will rotate it thanks to a controlled motor so that the vision system performs a precise and fast measurement on the entire adhesion surface of the sealing ring. At the end of the cycle the value of the maximum distance between the ring and its seat is displayed. The LX-265 is a handy and reliable solution, much more efficient than a manual control. The results are saved and stored using the PMAR8 software. A SPC study is possible as well as the gesture of the various measuring procedures.
