Description

With a "state of the art" design, the miniature circuit breaker has an elegant appearance. The front housing and arc-shaped lever ensure convenient operation. The unique snap-action mechanism allows the switch to be mounted on or removed of a DIN-rail without removing the other components from the rail. Dual-position plastic clips also help with the simple installation and replacement of miniature circuit breakers on the DIN rail. All terminals are Bi-Connect for ultimate flexibility. Deep serrated terminals provide the mounting of cables up to 35 mm² cross-section. The miniature circuit breaker also has a trip-free mechanism, which means that in the event of a fault it trips even if the lever is held in the ON position. The values of the power losses are still well below the IEC specifications and make the MCB miniature circuit breaker one of the most energy-efficient models on the market. The high current limiting performance under fault conditions is achieved by ultra-fast contact opening and arc quenching. Printed standard-compliant circuit symbols promote safety.
