ULTRASOUND IS USED FOR LEVEL MEASUREMENTS IN FLUIDS AND SOLIDS. ULTRASOUND DISTINGUISHES ITSELF BY THE FACT THAT NO PARTS TOUCH THE LIQUID. THIS IS WHY THIS MEASUREMENT METHOD IS SUITABLE FOR POLLUTED AND AGGRESSIVE LIQUIDS. SHUTTLE IS A STABLE AND INTELLIGENT ULTRASOUND LEVEL TRANSMITTER REQUIRING A MINIMUM OF MAINTENANCE. Shuttle ultrasonic level transmitter is mainly used for ultrasonic level measurements in wastewater wells, sewer wells and drinking water tanks or reservoirs. Measurements are done without physical contact with the measured liquid. Furthermore, the transmitter can also be used for accurate measurements of water levels in canals and ports etc. Non-contact measurement is ideal for contaminated liquids, including aggressive chemicals or liquids with a very high concentration of dissolved solids or sludge. In practice, the MJK Shuttle ultrasonic level transmitter operates by emitting a concentrated ultrasonic signal. The echo from this is converted by the sensor to a distance measured from the mounting location. In this way, you obtain stable and reliable measurements even from turbulent and contaminated surfaces. The device's built-in setup wizard guides you through the process, which is why the transmitter is both easy to install and use. The two built-in relays can also be used for efficient pump control and to give an alarm at high or low water levels. The device's intelligent microprocessor-controlled converter has a learning function that can eliminate false echoes in the well. This avoids unnecessary alarms. The built-in relays can be used for level and alarm signals, or to control pumps in the wastewater well.
