NU5A is a totally automatic sharpening machine, patented by Nordutensili Srl and specifically designed for tungsten carbide and HSS tools. The compact dimensions allow easy and problem-free installation. NU5A does not need specialized operators and training of how to use the machine requires a very little time. Ordinary maintenance is reduced to keep the machine clean. Information about the tools are automatically collected by the software through the laser. It is easy to verify the geometrical properties of the tool to be ground. NU5A guarantees an efficient production process, limiting energy consumption and therefore environmental impact. NU5A software automatically warns about ordinary operation (wheels measuring, wheels dressing, …) and automatic procedures also allow to check and compensate the shape of the grinding wheels. Skilled operator could adjust the geometry of tool if necessary, assisted by software that prevents any mistake and avoid any collision.
