• Ideal for honeycomb composite skin-to-core disbonds.
• High sensitivity and crisp signal and response.
• Detects near side and far side defects in most applications.
• Compatible with pitch-catch RF, IMPULSE or SWEPT methods.
• Ergonomic design and easy configurations.
• No couplant required.
Specifications
Operation mode: Pitch-Catch
Frequency: Broadband
Tips: Spacing 14 mm (0.55 in.)
Ergonomic design
General-purpose, broadband pitch-catch probe with ergonomic design featuring 4 feet and probe tips at the edge of the probe. Allows easy scanning of any flat or large radius curved surface. The tips placed at the probe's edge allow for stable edge testing of parts. This is the preferred probe model used on most composite honeycomb inspections.

Operation mode: Pitch-Catch
Frequency: Broadband
Tips: Spacing 14 mm (0.55 in.)
Broadband pitch-catch probe with ergonomic design feature probes inside the 4 feet for easy inspection over tighter part radii such as wing leading edges. Although intended for tighter radii, this probe will perform well on flatter composite homecomb structures.
Specifications
Operation mode: Pitch-catch
Frequency: Broadband, high voltage
Tips: Spacing 12.7 mm (0.5 in.), spring-loaded tips
Broadband pitch-catch probe with smaller footprint and elongated body, meant to be used in tighter access areas. This probe generally shows slighty more sensitivity to smaller defects than the S-PC-P14 or S-PC-P16 models, due to its closer tips. Although not as stable as the S-PC-P14 or S-PC-P16 on flat surfaces, the use of the SPO-5629-PHV in the friction holder SPO-5629-H-R1 can simplify the inspection of honeycomb composites.
