Omega LCM900 series bolt force sensor is made of stainless steel. It provides exceptional stability, durability and dependability in challenging industrial applications. The device is a compression load cell designed for measurement of bolt's clamping force. It can be mounted between two mounting washers, which are included, on a flat surface.
LCM900 has excitation of 5 Vdc (10 V max) and output as 2 mV/V nominal. It has an accuracy of ±3.5% FSO including the combined effects of linearity, hysteresis and repeatability errors and zero balance of ±4% FSO. It has an operating temperature range of -54 to 93°C (-65 to 200°F) and compensated temperature range of 16 to 71°C (60 to 160°F). The thermal effect on zero is ±0.018% FSO/°C and on span is ±0.036% of Rdg/°C.
With LCM900, the safe overload is 130% of capacity, while ultimate overload is 150% of capacity. It has 120 .nominal bridge resistance and has electrical connection as 1.2 m (4 ft) insulated shielded cable.
