The SD1 machine is used to make serrations on knife blades. The grinding wheel is cut to the shape of the knife automatically by means of a diamond roller. Depending on the geometry of the roller, different types of workpieces such as saw blades, for example, can be serrated. Tooth parameters are easily programmed on a 7″ touch screen. Hundreds of programs can be stored, model change is simple and fast.
