• Specially designed to address the concept of astronomical telescope
• Facilitated optical alignment (all components are directly at the same height)
• Possibility to also address the laws of conjugation, Galileo's telescope, and the microscope
The astronomical telescope, or 'Keplerian telescope', allows for an increase in the apparent size and brightness of celestial objects during their observation. It is made up of a combination of two converging lenses, with the objective lens having a long focal length compared to the eyepiece. As it is an afocal system, the image focus of the objective lens is coincident with the image focus of the eyepiece.
