The safety edge is perforated and acts as an additional anti-slip mechanism when stepping onto the stair. With the help of the side plates on the steps these can be easily screwed onto an existing structure. Application areas of the stair treads can be either inside or outside of buildings. Be aware of slipping hazards caused by weather conditions or slippery substances appearing on the anti-slip tread. Each stair tread and step has a perforated anti-slip safety edge. All side plates have a drilled hole and a slotted hole to facilitate the alignment of the outside edges during assembly. The stair treads for the various indoor and outdoor steel stairs are manufactured with the same bearing and cross bar dimensions as the gratings.
