Rectangular voice coil motors for applications requiring short stroke motion with a low stiffness and high bandwidth. For short stroke applications requiring a relatively large displacement in three directions, the Iris line provides a high force density with zero attraction forces in a rectangular form factor. The casing of the coil unit is optimized for heat transfer whilst maintaining a high bandwidth. The magnets of the magnet yoke are shorter than the back irons to provide magnetic shielding.
