The Promix-CN.LN.01 LAN controller (hereinafter referred to as the controller) is part of the Promix-Locker control system and is designed to organize a network for controlling electromechanical locks, blockers, and other mechanisms and scanning their current state (sensor activation, loss of communication, presentation of identifiers, etc.) via USB and UART interfaces.
The access technology is implemented by a top-level device (server, PC, terminal, tablet, etc.) running on common UNIX-like operating systems, Windows OS, as well as software for control devices with a UART interface.
The Promix-Locker system includes the following devices manufactured by Promix:
- electromechanical locks,
- peripheral controllers for controlling mechanisms (Promix-CN.PR.04, Promix-CN.PR.08),
- peripheral ID reader controllers (Promix-CN.RD.01),
- electronic locks for MOBILE urban transport Promix-SM307,
- Promix-CN.LN.01 LAN controller,
- Promix-AD.RI.01 interface converters/repeaters as signal amplifiers.
And also:
LAN power supply,
- a top-level device (server, mini-PC, terminal, tablet, etc.).
The Promix-CN.LN.01 controller, in addition to collecting information about the access system, maintains the LAN interface, short circuit protection, galvanic separation of LAN circuits and top-level devices.
The top-level operating system recognizes the controller as a virtual COM port by assigning a serial number.
