Abrasive recycling system is a device for desludging and recycling of abrasive material during waterjet cutting procedure The sludge is then pumped through a series of screens where it is washed and separated into waste product and good product. The good abrasive is then dried and passed over a final screen where over-size particles are removed. Finally it is coming out of the system as clean and dry abrasive ready to be re-used. The waste material, meaning to small abrasive particles as well as cut off particles are collected in a big-bag and drained. Therefore the waste can be disposed dry. The recycling system is controlled by a PLC. The main function are permanently monitored and in case of a trouble the system is automatically shutting down. Therefore the system can work automatically and independently.
