MULTIPACK PACKAGING MACHINE W/SLIDE PLATE: QUBIQA'S NEWEST GENERATION This multipack packaging machine is designed with a focus on minimizing the over-compression and the impact on the product. The main contributing design features are as follows: The conventional hold-back bars that press against the product and are welded inside the multipack machine are replaced by a slide plate. Not only does this minimize the over-compression it also greatly reduces the impact the conventional hold-back bars had on the product. The charge is compressed before it is transported through the film curtain. This eliminates the risk that film accumulates inside the compression tunnel during the compression process. The new back stop plate has a rounded shape that matches the shape of the finished multipack. The multipack packaging machine is designed to handle packs as well as rolls. A top support system ensures that no packs fall over during the accumulation process. The top conveyor is fitted with brushes to compensate for any height differences within the same product type. The multipack machine is equipped with Qubiqa's patented FlexWeld system that enables the use of pre-stretched MDO film, which is stronger than any conventional film.
