The supervision of rupture discs is a relevant factor for many operators. Until now, this included additional effort, since the signalling device was a separate component. By integrating a signalling device into the rupture disc, REMBE is able to offer a simple, cost-effective solution for the monitoring of rupture discs.
Integration reduces the number of installation points and increases leak-tightness
Thanks to the sophisticated design it is not necessary to route a cable out of the rupture disc holder, which avoids the need for a cable gland and thus leads to increased leak-tightness of the installation.
Whereas for conventional rupture discs and signalling the rupture disc had to be installed separately from the signalling device, the new SGKKUB and SGKODV can be easily installed and maintained as a single component.
With the SGKKUB, the signalling device as the top layer is facing away from the process and thus ideally protected. In the SGKODV three-layer rupture disc, the signalling is located between the sealing membrane and the upper part of the rupture disc.
