Resato presents 2.5D cutting head with 5-axis, specifically for bevelling cutting. It provides two advantages, which are improved user-friendliness and superior cutting measures. This ensures an unparalleled and best-in-class performance when compared to other leading water jet cutting manufacturers. De 2.5D is an automatic bevelling cutting head with 5 axis. It allows cutting in angles between 0⁰ to 55⁰. It features torque engines, developed in-house, featuring a hollow axis. During assembly, minimal tolerances are achieved through use of sophisticated metal-metal gluing methods. This ensures improvement measurements of the cut products. The 2.5D cutting head can be easily programmed using the IGEMS software, making it very easy to use. A "taper effect" is caused at faster cutting speeds and when using particular material types and/or thicknesses. This leads to a non-right-angle cut. In such instances, angle deviations are compensated by the 2.5D cutting head. Used with the cutting head it allows all key cutting parameters to be controlled. The EMS management system promptly detects a defective water nozzle or any stoppage in the abrasive feed, raises an alarm and can automatically stop the cutting process if required.
