Excelitas offers risley (wedge) prisms with high accuracy laser beam steering in a wide variety of demanding military, industrial and instrumentation applications. Using our patented Ion Beam Sputtered (IBS) Coatings, our risley prism pairs feature low scatter, low loss surfaces, maximum optical throughput and highest laser damage resistance. Manufactured with extreme care, our risley prism pairs ensure precise matching of wedge angles, bulk material indices of refraction, and accurate transmitted wavefront performance. These infrared risley prisms can be fabricated from a variety of materials including fused silica, Si, Ge, ZnSe, ZnS, CaF2, MgF2, Cleartran and AMTIR with minimal defects and up to 150mm in diameter.
