The PGC 9300 gas chromatograph can be used to analyse the components of the gas composition of natural gas, biogas, gas from power-2-gas applications and their mixed gases. One of the different PGC variants is available for each application. The gas components are used in the analysis computer to calculate further values such as the superior and inferior calorific value, standard density and Wobbe index. The PGC is officially approved by the PTB for natural gas, biogas and natural gas with proportions of O2 to 5% and H2 to 20%.
Our PGC 9300 gas chromatographs are H2 Ready! The analysis computer forms the digital interface for your integrated networked plant technology.
Gas chromatograph for measuring natural gas, biogas and mixed gas
Our PGC9300 gas chromatograph is the successor of the RMG GC 9000VC, which has been available on the market in its various iterations since August 2007. Since its approval by PTB in August 2013, the PGC9301 is available for the determination of the 11 components of natural gas.
In August 2012, PGC9302 was approved for the determination of biogas (9 components) and PGC9303 was available from July 2013 for the determination of natural gas with hydrogen and oxygen (12 components). The PGC9304 measures natural gas with larger proportions of hydrogen as well as oxygen and helium since July 2015. In its current version, hydrogen is determined up to 20 mol%.
In May 2020 the gas chromatograph PGC9304 was approved by the CMI for custody transfer operation in the Czech Republic.
