The ECT40 is a current inspection system that is ideal for use in non-contact detection of faults, butt welds and mechanical connections in metallic semi-products, which includes tubes, coils, wires, cables, and bars. It is suitable for use in the quality control section, and it checks the surface, volume, and sub-areas such as weld seam. It utilizes one or more sensor coils to check. The unit operates in compliance to a variety is standards including DIN EN ISO 15548-1 standards. The ECT40 has both absolute and differential channels with frequencies ranging from 1 kHz up to 12 MHz. The model also features real-time communication for an accurate gauging with the use of Host-PC through Ethernet. Host-PC is used for both visualization and operation of the gauging channels.
