The newly developed 1/2.8" CMOS sensor results into a higher image quality. The RoughCam miniTube incorporates the CMOS sensor that offers highly improved sensitivity and colour reproduction compared to earlier sensors. In addition, the robust camera can operate with a minimum illumination of 0.01 lx, resulting in a significant improvement in image quality under limited lighting conditions.
