The PB100-1200 Beltwagons or Mobile Transfer Conveyors (MTCs) from Sandvik are heavy-duty equipment units that can handle bulk material from opencast mining operations. With a high capacity in the range 150 to 10,000m3/h, these beltwagons form an intermediate link between mining machines and conveyors, for example between the bucket wheel excavator and the bench conveyor. Receiving a boom length of 21m and discharge boom length of 26m builds an efficient and adjustable platform that overpasses distance and height in a large mine. Shutdown of the machines is greatly reduced by prolonging the intervals between conveyor shifts. These are compatible with all existing Sandvik bucket wheel excavators.
